I had kept in mind when I had my engine out....take a straight edge of some sort and run it thru the center of the crank pulley and the 15* mark and make a discreet corresponding mark somewhere up top on the motor/timing belt cover, this way you can be sure when you set your timing that you have it exact and that parallax isn't causing it to be off by an unknown amount. It's a PITA to get a good view down there of the timing marks and the pulley center at the same time to make sure you are getting it correct. I found my timing to be way off earlier this year for this very reason. I didnt have my eye in the proper location when I last set it last year.
